SjW progressive rock band

SjW are a unique British rock band. Simon James White, Mitch Gasser and Tom Price, are young and extremely talented musicians. Together they creature mature rock sounds and are a band with that something extra, they are a band with something very different to say.  SjW offer the listener more then just run of the mill rock music, and consequently the band are already winning many plaudits throughout the rock fraternity. There is a technical mastery and subtlety of touch on show here that belies their years.  The band are influenced by stadium super bands and the release of Moments Of Magnitude represents yet another step on the ladder towards emulating all of the great bands and musicians that have stood before them.

Music Reviews

“Simon’s greatest asset is his voice – a pure meaty tenor that sounds like a hybrid of Jon Anderson and Jack Bruce “. Ben Sommer  – Bands Like Rush.com 2011

I really like “Distant Rider” and “Heavy Cargo” has a Jethro Tull feel to it  – All round killer album ! Chris Lewis – KVRM

The rockingest album I’ve ever had the pleasure to be involved with – a terrific range of juicy, beaty and melodic songs, performed  with panache, and equal measures of skill and invention. It’s a thoroughly rewarding album that bears repeated listening,
and has a wonderfully breezy yet powerful production that allows the music to breathe – even if I do say so myself! George Shilling  – Producer 2011

There’s a lot of fine music out there but I would urge you to try this band and start with “Anthems”. If that doesn’t hook you then you need your ears seen to !“
Jason Ritchie – Get Ready To Rock.com 2009
